Dean of M.Th. Studies - Rev. Dr. Arvind Kumar

Rev. Dr. Arvind Kumar hails from Himachal Pradesh and is married to Mrs. R. Uma Prabha. They are blessed with two sons, Arnav Kumar Singh (16) and Ryan Singh (10).
His theological journey is rooted in a strong academic foundation. He completed his Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) and Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) from New Theological College, Dehradun, and earned his Master of Theology (M.Th.) from Tamilnadu Theological Seminary, Madurai. He pursued his Doctoral Studies (Ph.D.) in the Department of History of Christianity at the United Theological College, Bangalore, under the auspices of the Senate of Serampore University, Kolkata. In addition to his theological qualifications, Dr. Arvind Kumar holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from IGNOU University, Delhi, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu.
With over 23 years of pastoral ministry experience in both Northern and Southern India, Dr. Arvind Kumar brings deep spiritual insight and academic excellence to his ministry and teaching. He currently serves as Pastor of the English Service at Bethany IPC Church, Mathikere, Bangalore, and as Associate Professor at the Indian Theological Seminary, Chennai.
At Bethel New Life College, Bangalore, he is a core faculty member and serves as the Dean of Master of Theology (M.Th.) Studies, contributing significantly to the academic and spiritual formation of students.
