M.A. in Christian Studies

The Master of Arts in Christian Studies program offered by Bethel New Life College in association with Martin Luther Christian University is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in Christian theology, ministry, and leadership. The program is structured with a focus on rigorous academic study, spiritual formation, and practical application.

The M.A. in Christian Studies program is a two-year program that comprises 80 credits, with 60 credits dedicated to coursework and 20 credits to practicum. The program covers a range of subjects such as Biblical Studies, Christian Theology, Church History, Ethics, Leadership, and Missions. The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Christian faith and its application in contemporary contexts.

The program includes a mandatory practicum component that allows students to gain practical experience in ministry and leadership. Students will engage in hands-on ministry experience in churches, non-profit organizations, and other ministry settings. The practicum component provides students with opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world contexts and to develop their capacity for effective leadership.

Upon completion of the M.A. in Christian Studies program, students will be well-equipped to serve as leaders in various ministry contexts, including churches, mission organizations, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions. Graduates of the program will have the knowledge, skills, and character to make a significant impact on the world around them.
